1. Cuesta next steps:  Going into next week's Cougar Welcome Days (this is when you register), students need have (at the very least) the following complete:

• A Fall 2021 application.
• Set up access to their my.cuesta.edu student portal. 
• The online orientation (accessible through their student portal), AND the Pre-Registration Counseling Canvas Course (at the end of the Counseling Course, students register for their Cougar Welcome Day appt to sign up for their Fall 2021 classes).

Appointment slots are available Mon, May 10, 2021 thru Fri, May 14, 2021 from 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM & 2:00 PM - 3:30PM.  

2.  Students should be working with the financial aid departments of the school they are attending.  That is how I've always advised my students.  Taking out loans/ determining a financial aid package is a very personal decision that families should decide with a financial aid expert.  You can always direct them to the financial aid website to find out information.  There is a link to "comparing offers" and there is also a link to a page that describes all the different types of aid (grants, loans, scholarships, etc...)

3. Work Day

Objective: Students will begin the next steps towards completing the Cuesta Promise.
